It's a Monday in October and this is my penultimate wedding of 2017. I arrive at Hampshire Court Hotel (I am their preferred photographer) and the room is all set for a wedding! Simon awaited Amanda's arrival with his best man at his side. His suit was from Bartlett & Butcher.
Amanda wore a fantastic black dress - a change up from her usual white uniform, I am told. She walked down the aisle with her father and her bridesmaid walked ahead of them wearing a beautiful blue gown. The dresses were custom made and flowers by Petals Polly Flowers. The ceremony was heartfelt and beautifully conducted by Basingstoke Register Office registrars.
After the ceremony, welcome drinks were served and we conducted the group photographs on the terrace whilst people mingled and congratulated the new Mr & Mrs Poole. I headed upstairs to take a large group photograph from the first floor window and then we retreated to the covered area for some newlywed portraits before the couple were shown their wedding breakfast set up.
The Hampshire Court staff were, again, absolutely fantastic with their timings and customer service. I have always recommended this venue, even before I became a preferred supplier here.
The decor was stunning and provided by Events For U. White table linen and chair covers with hints of blue and black. It all worked perfectly! The cake just looked absolutely scrummy with its black icing (provided by Inspirations Cakes, Bishops Waltham) - we did a cake cutting (mock) photograph and then I headed off to allow the couple and their guests to enjoy the rest of their day together.
Thank you for having me, Amanda and Simon. I thoroughly enjoyed capturing your day and providing a photo book for you to cherish these memories forever.
