On Saturday 9th March 2013, I arrived at a very busy house where the bridal party was getting ready for the big day! After taking photographs of hair being styled, make-up being applied and the bridesmaids and page boys getting ready, the bride made her entrance in a wonderful, white dress. She looked absolutely beautiful!
The ceremony was to be held a few miles down the road, so once I had captured all the pre-wedding pictures, I jumped in the car and made my way to Guildford Register Office. It was a bit chilly outside but the rain held off for the entire ceremony and I was able to capture some lovely photographs of the family afterwards. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Farnborough. The groom is serving in the army, so I caught some excellent photographs with him dressed in his military uniform.
I ended up taking just over 800 pictures and was able to edit these down into around 500+ (including black and white, colour and mixed images). The photographs were more 'journalistic' and natural. A very enjoyable day, indeed.
