It was an early September's day and we had the most torrential rain I've driven and worked in for a long time. The journey to All Saints Church in Headley was treacherous but I made it with plenty of time spare. Waiting at the church already were family and friends, some of whom I'd worked with before (Mr & Mrs Way, whose wedding took place in 2016). Steve waited with his brother and they greeted guests as they took their seats.
Just as the bride, Danielle arrived, the rain stopped. Absolutely perfect timing. As the lovely service continued, the weather became dryer and sunnier outside. After a beautiful ceremony conducted by Rev. Dr. Andrew Barton, with readings by the Bride's brother, the register was signed and Mr & Mrs Wright appeared at the church doors in glorious sunshine.
We had just enough time to conduct group photographs and newlywed portraits before the rain showers started again and we headed off to Alton House Hotel which had been completely redecorated since my last visit - it looks amazing!
Unfortunately we didn't manage to get outside for more photographs in the beautiful grounds of Alton House Hotel due to the weather, however we were able to capture a few more memories and group shots. I was also able to photograph the absolutely amazing decor and flowers within the venue. The cake looked fantastic too!
Mr & Mrs Wright - thank you for having me. I wish you all the best for the future.
