On Saturday 18th February 2017, I had the honour of photographing the wedding of this awesome couple (who are also friends). They went with a Beauty & The Beast theme, which was further enhanced by the groom changing into his 'Beast' outfit for the first dance!
I started the day by arriving at the very grand Easthampstead Park Conference Centre and photographing the bridal prep. We had a lovely, light room with a large window, plus a conference room next door to take some portraits in before the ceremony. The huge stained glass window also provided an amazing backdrop for some pre-wedding portraits. The bridesmaids wore blue and the groomsmen were in their finest, as was the groom himself!
The ceremony was lovely - to see friends getting married is always such a wonderful thing to witness, especially when you've also been asked to photograph it too! After the ceremony, we were able to venture into the beautiful gardens for some portraits in front of the steps and then the fountain too. Newlywed portraits also took place around the gardens and in front of the stained glass window and later into the evening, the clear sky provided a beautiful, star-lit backdrop for another magical portrait.
Easthampstead Park's staff were so helpful, accommodating and prompt, enabling the day to run well on time - I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone. They even sorted out a pesky fire alarm which went off due to some hairspray getting in the way - oops!
There was so much love in the air, not just between Emily and Chaz but with all their friends and family too - I'm sure you can see that from the photographs below. Everyone had such a fantastic time and I'm so glad I was able to be there from beginning to end.
